2-1-1 Broward Launches Exclusive CLUB 2-1-1

The chic surroundings of SoLita Las Olas were the perfect backdrop for the recent launch of CLUB 2-1-1. CLUB 2-1-1 is an exclusive group created by 2-1-1 Broward to connect people in the community for good. Over 100 guests were treated to cocktails, signature SoLita hors d'oeuvres and jazz music presented by Will Bridges Entertainment. The highlight of the event, which was underwritten by Kip Hunter Marketing and Berger Singerman, was to announce the official kick-off of CLUB 2-1-1 and introduce guests to CLUB 2-1-1's sponsor, BankAtlantic.

The CLUB 2-1-1 launch party was marked by the presence of Jarett Levan, CEO and President of BankAtlantic, who personally talked about the value of 2-1-1 Broward as the central gateway to health and human services for every resident of Broward County. Levan described the relationship between BankAtlantic and CLUB 2-1-1 as "a great match". CLUB 2-1-1 and the BankAtlantic Foundation both strive to connect people with non-profits either as volunteers or to access resources.

Also on hand at Solita's was new 2-1-1 Broward Chair, Gregory A. Haile, an attorney with the law firm of Berger Singerman. Haile spoke about the creation of CLUB 2-1-1 and its mission to let more people know about the support and services available to them and their families through 2-1-1 Broward. The CLUB was created to also provide an affordable and enjoyable opportunity for everyone to support this vital community resource.

Membership to CLUB 2-1-1 is $211 a year and CLUB membership will be limited to 211 members. There are currently 85 members. Plans for future CLUB 2-1-1 events are underway and admission to events will be FREE for CLUB members.
