All About Special Gals
A UM/NSU CARD Program
All About Gals is a program for parents, grandparents, caregivers, professionals
and others who are involved with females with special needs. This program
began due to the lack of resources specific to females. Our mission is to
help those involved in the lives of girls with special needs to help their special gals live fuller, happier lives filled with opportunities. We provide support groups
for caregivers, events for special gals to connect with peers and workshops
to help parents, caregivers, teachers and others have a positive effect
on the special gals in their lives.
ALL SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE
Support Groups:
Open to parents, caregivers, grandparents and other adult relatives of gals with special needs.
Location: Vienna Coffee House
5724 South Flamingo Road (intersection of Sterling and Flamingo) in Cooper City
Workshops: Body Changes and Your Special Gal
Location: Dan Marino Center, Weston, Florida
Gal Time: Bring your gal to socialize with her peers.
Location: NSU Card Office on Griffin Road
